Testimonials

TESTIMONIALS

“For many years my son has struggled with social anxiety, intrusive thoughts and other neurodiverse behaviours which as a family we were able to manage but towards the end of last year he started to spiral, which impacted on his mental health. He withdrew from most social interactions, his all-time love of football and wanting to attend school. As a family, we were finding it really hard which is when I contacted Mel. Her sessions have been so helpful. I’m not just given a load of information to try and navigate through, I get to talk about strategies we have put in place, what’s worked, what hasn’t and prepare for upcoming life events which my son can find overwhelming. Mel has also met with my son’s school to ensure continuity which has been a great help. Having someone to check in with on a regular basis has been invaluable; it has made me feel less alone when times get hard and has given me the confidence to continue to support my son in the right way.”
